Moose Housing
Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming
R&O constructed seven four-plex housing units for the National Park Service in Moose, Wyoming. To get a jump on construction, the units were built as modular units in Denver, Colorado. Each of the seven buildings consists of eight modular units, four stacked on four.
The site was constrained, so the modules were stored off-site and trucked in as each pad was readied. Each module was completely finished after which the flooring was installed on site. With the modules up, R&O then added a laundry area and garages for each unit. The units house up to 56 people. Additionally, R&O installed a new street, utilities and site improvements.
The project earned LEED Platinum Certification.
