FedEx Ground Expansion
North Salt Lake City, Utah
The expansion to the FedEx regional hub included adding three metal buildings and a fourth with a faux masonry exterior. The facility contains a highly sophisticated conveyor system capable of receiving packages from inbound semi-trailers and then routing them via sensors to stations for final delivery.
R&O’s work was conducted during regular center operations which meant only certain hours for material delivery and construction work. A good communication system was also set up with out-of-state team members.
