The Ken’s Foods project was a design-build, 64,000 square ft. warehouse/distribution expansion to accommodate the addition of a new consumer bottling production line. Of fully insulated concrete tilt-up construction, the roof is steel girders/joists with a metal deck and EPDM membrane. The roof insulation is 8” Polyisocynurate board.
R&O’s employees worked off hours to accommodate Kens Foods existing production, and alleviated any interuption of daily production. The project was turned over to the owner almost four weeks ahead of schedule.
"R&O Construction's coordination of the new construction activities was flawless, and the schedule was carefully coordinated so that our daily production was not inhibited in any way. The strength of the communication facilitated by R&O with Ken's Foods was excellent, and because of this, the new warehouse/distribution project was turned over to Ken's Foods almost four weeks early." - David A. Muskopf, Vice President of Engineering
