The Standlee Western Forage facility steams, treats and compresses hay and alfalfa into small cubes suitable for international shipping. With an average shipping container weight of 24 metric tons, the Standlee Hay Company needed a facility that provides the infrastructure, machinery and dependable facilities necessary to keep this high demand, high yield product in production.

The 66,080 sf building is constructed of concrete tilt-up panels and features a 3,080 sf office/ shop and a 63,000 warehouse with receiving, processing and shipping areas. The warehouse includes 10 loading docks with large overhead doors on the east side and a 20’x 25’ receiving ramp on the west side. The building is located on a rail spur and R&O worked around several easements on the property.
