Northrop Grumman Roy Innovation Center
R&O provided preconstruction and general contracting services for Northrup Grumman’s Roy Innovation Center at Falcon Hill Aerospace Research Park, a 550-acre development located at Hill Air Force Base in Utah. The project is a new office building constructed to house Northrop Grumman’s team assigned to work on their new Department of Defense contract at Hill Air Force Base.
R&O built the core and shell and provided complete interior tenant improvements for class A office space, including a Secure Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) spaces, a secure auditorium, offices, open office space, meeting rooms and break rooms.
The three-story, 227,400-square-foot office building project for military contractor Northrop Grumman is being delivered under a compressed 10-month schedule—a feat made possible by using the concrete tilt-up method and hiring cream of the crop subcontractors. The building also incorporates structural steel and curtain wall elements. The cost and efficiency of tilt-ups offer red huge benefits to the project and allowed our team to complete three story building in only 10 months.
