Since 2007, R&O Construction has found that by implementing Building Information Modeling (BIM) at the beginning of a project, early communication and planning processes are facilitated. Using BIM helps identify potential problems sooner than later for a quicker resolution, and to keep the project moving forward.

One of R&O’s superintendents used BIM on the Holy Family Catholic Church project in South Ogden, Utah. BIM made it easier for him to visually demonstrate to subcontractors any potential problems, which in return, increased the project’s efficiency. R&O was also able to save another customer thousands of dollars on a project once subcontractors viewed the model in 3-D. Doing this uncovered possible ductwork and structural issues which were corrected before construction began.

You can count on R&O to expand the use of this Integrated Project Delivery system to benefit your project.
