R&O Construction undertook the UTA expansion project at the Mount Ogden Bus Facility, which involved adding four new maintenance bays equipped with lifts. The scope of work encompassed modifying the existing building to accommodate the expansion while ensuring seamless facility operations throughout the construction period.
Despite the facility’s 24/7 operations, R&O efficiently coordinated the construction activities to minimize disruptions. Additionally, R&O liaised with the contractor appointed by UTA to install electronic charging infrastructure beneath existing canopies, facilitating bus charging operations. The construction primarily employed precast concrete tilt panels, ensuring structural integrity and timely project completion.
