Hurst Center for Lifelong Learning

The 41,00 sf, two-story building features offices, conference and meeting rooms, learning space, work rooms, a presentation room, and a multi-purpose assemble hall that functions as a gallery, theater or a gathering space. Public spaces include a double height reception area, registration desks, and student work areas. The building’s partial basement houses dedicated mechanical, electrical, server vault, IT and storage rooms.

Construction is of steel with brick veneer, reflecting the aesthetic of the surrounding buildings. The project achieved LEED® Silver Certification and was awarded the 2010 Associated Builders and Contractors Institutional Excellence in Construction award for projects between $5-$10 million.
