Project Briefing

The Marnell Air Cargo Center includes two single-story buildings that house freight and mailing operations for the Las Vegas Harry Reid International Airport. The $29 million freight center houses the operations of FedEx, UPS and Southwest Airlines’ freight operations, among other companies. The center is located on 19 acres next to Terminal 3, a 14-gate facility off Russell Road.

Both buildings are encompassed by flexible and rigid pavements along with designated trailer landing pads for loading and unloading; aircraft tether tie downs; retaining walls to maintain grade variations, and extensive landscaping.

Notable Information

Both buildings are 30 feet tall, tilt-up concrete construction with steel joist and deck and TPO roofing. Each building has multiple loading docks, some with levelers, and some at grade level, each with overhead door access.
